We had a suite with Japanese-style bed and a western bed the room was large and all the beds were so comfy it was hard to get out of bed each morning and they had a kimono rental downstairs which was fun for the kids to wear and take pictures and the staff was friendly and accommodating and helped us with recommendations around the area

However, the room was a bit tight for parking luggage, and the Ryokan did not offer dining options that I tried during my visit.

However, the Wi-Fi signal leaves much to be desired, making it a challenge to stay connected. The noise from nearby eateries can creep in, particularly during late hours, which might not sit well with light sleepers. Additionally, planning ahead for breakfast choices and private bath bookings is essential, as availability can be hit or miss without prior arrangements.

The bar had tasty sake options, but the room could've used more light. Overall, great way to soak in the Kyoto vibes!
